Application & Deployment Engineer

As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for bringing our systems into production. You work at the interface between technology and real-world deployment - ensuring that our solutions are correctly configured, integrated and performing reliably at the customer site.
Your work directly determines how successfully our systems operate in real production environments.
What you will work on
- Configure and deploy inspection systems for specific customer applications
- Define and adapt inspection setups based on part geometry, defect types and production requirements
- Integrate our systems into existing production lines and workflows
- Work with real production data to fine-tune system performance and detection quality
- Identify and resolve issues during deployment and operation
- Collaborate closely with computer vision and embedded engineers to improve system performance
- Support customer-specific adaptations while maintaining scalable system principles
- Translate real-world requirements into structured feedback for product and engineering teams
What we look for
- Background in Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing or a related field
- Strong understanding of technical systems and industrial processes
- Ability to quickly understand new applications and production environments
- Hands-on mindset with a focus on practical problem-solving
- Ability to work across disciplines, bridging engineering, product and customer needs
- Structured thinking and ability to troubleshoot complex system behavior
- Willingness to work closely with customers and operate in real industrial environments
- Clear and confident communication in technical contexts
